Supplication to be recited upon reaching the age of forty
رَبِّ اَوْزِعْنِیْۤ اَنْ اَشْکُرَنِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِیْۤ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وَالِدَیَّ وَاَنْ اَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضٰہُ وَاَصْلِحْ لِیْ فِیْ ذُرِّیَّتِیْ، اِنِّـیْ تُبْتُ اِلَیْكَ وَ اِ نِّـیْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ
O my Lord, grant me the ability to remain grateful for the blessings You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and enable me to do righteous deeds that please You. Reform my children for my sake. I turn to You in repentance, and I am among those who submit to You.
