Al-Qadrسُوۡرَةُ القَدر
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
﴾.﴿
بے حد مہربان اور بہت رحم کرنے والے اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent and the most Merciful.
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
﴾۱﴿
ہم نے اس (قرآن) کو عظمت والی رات میں اتارا
Verily! We have sent this (Qur'an) down in the Night of Glory.
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
﴾۲﴿
اور آپ کو کیا معلوم کہ عظمت والی رات کیا ہے
And what will make you perceive what the Night of Glory is.
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
﴾۳﴿
عظمت والی رات ہزار مہینے سے بہتر ہے
The Night of Glory is better than a thousand months.
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
﴾۴﴿
اس رات کو فرشتے اور روح (الامین) اپنے ربّ کے حکم سے (اپنے ربّ کے) تمام احکام (کو سرانجام دینے) کےلیے نازل ہوتے ہیں
That night, the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] descend by their Lord's Permission with all decrees (to carry them out),
سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
﴾۵﴿
وہ (رات) سلامتی (کی رات) ہے، (اس کی سلامتی اور خیر و برکت) طلوع فجر تک (باقی رہتی ہے)
(That night is) Peace! (Its peace, goodness and blessings remain) until the dawn break.
